5 Reasons Why You Should Wake Up Early If You’re Living In Nairobi

Nairobi is one of the busiest cities you can ever imagine of, to manage the Nairobi traffic, you’ll need to adopt an early morning routine. You don’t need to be Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg or a boss to begin waking up early.

We know it sounds like a motivational talk, but wait, what is the essence of such a talk? Of course, to encourage you to do the things that we as human beings need to be reminded over and over again.

Waking up as early as 5:00 am will earn you plenty of benefits that you’ve never experienced before. Take a few minutes and read the kind of benefits you’ve been missing. And ooh, don’t be a follower of the crowd – trust in yourself, yes, you can do it.

1. No Traffic Jam

Nairobi traffic is crazier every morning. It never ceases to amaze us how you get ready by 5:00 am and get in town within ten minutes but try getting ready by 6:00 am you’ll find a huge Nairobi traffic jam and possibly you’ll get in town in the next hour.

Whether you’re commuting by bus or private car, you’ll escape the traffic jam and that’s a plus. And by the way, who like staying on traffic jams? None. In case, you like giving traffic jam excuses as the cause of being late at work then try changing your sleeping patterns. Wake up early, sleep early – the few extra hours you’ll create will make a positive impact in your life.

Not staying in traffic will help you lower the stress you’ll get if you’re late for a meeting or a client is waiting and also allows you to be at ease and take control of your entire day like a boss.

2. Great Productivity

If you want to be consistently productive at work, wake up early. You’ll get the chance to master the art of managing your time well. It’s pretty simple, if you miss your morning clock and end up waking up hours late, most of your daily work will end up undone. Less productivity and poor time management results in poor results.

Either employed or jobless you are required to wake up early, no one can say they have nothing to do. Productivity is determined by the hours you spend on productive work. If you spend most of your hours asleep those are missed hours of productivity. Having enough hours of sleep is important nevertheless, sleeping too long can cut you short on time.
