A Brazilian gang head attempted to escape jail while dressed like his 19-year-old daughter.
Clauvino da Silva, 42 was wearing a silicone mask, wig, and pink T-shirt.
His efforts became futile after guards at the Bangu prison complex in Rio de Janeiro, where he was confined, caught up with him.
He was caught after the police noticed the nervousness on his face as he attempted to escape.
Officials shared photos showing Clauvino dressed in the long wig and the pink T-shirt.
A video was also released by Rio de Janeiro’s state secretary of prison administration showing the gang leader removing off the ladyish outfits. The video also showed him saying his real names. The man is currently serving a 73-year sentence for drug trafficking.
In 2013, Clauvino escaped Rio’s Gericinó prison after escaping jail through the sewer. This time round, he had a plan of walking out via the main door and leave his daughter in his cell.
