How Not To Take Photos With Your Phone This Weekend

Spread the love

Taking photos with your phone should be easy, right? After all, it’s just a lick, and like magic, you get an image. So how do we usually get it so wrong 80% of the time? Well, it’s never too early to start planning for how we’ll capture all those great weekend memories. Here’s what not to do if you want the perfect Insta shot.

#1. Dirty lens

Unless you’re going for a blurry look, just take a second to clean your lens before taking the shot.

#2. No grid lines

Using the ‘rule of thirds’ principle, grid lines help to balance the shot and improve their quality when taking photos with your phone.

#3. Getting flashy

Your camera phone’s flash is really not your friend, so try never to use it when taking photos. Instead, find other sources of light that you can use.

#4. Always zooming in

When taking photos with your phone, it’s best to get as close as possible to your subject so that you can capture details. It’s okay, most times the subjects don’t bite!

#5. Portrait mode

Vertical photos always look weird because our minds consume content horizontally. When taking photos with your phone, always use landscape mode to capture your subject and the surrounding.
