Miss Jamaica Sings Her Way To The Miss World 2019 Crown (VIDEO)

What would you do to win? For Toni-Ann Singh, Miss Jamaica, her amazing singing was the crowning moment that saw her walking away with the Miss World 2019 title recently. The annual Miss World beauty pageant was held in London.



During the competition portion of the evening, Miss Jamaica stunned the audience by singing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing. Toni-Ann Singh’s beautiful voice and amazing performance had the audience rooting for her even before the winner was announced.


The 23-year old Miss Jamaica was declared the winner in a highly anticipated moment for everyone. She received her crown from last year’s winner, Vanessa Ponce de Leon of Mexico. While Toni-Ann Singh looked shocked about the win, her fellow beauty queens were there to congratulate her. In particular, Miss Nigeria could be seen jumping up and down with happiness and excitement, and gassing her up when she was crowned as Miss World 2019.



After the win, Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh took to her Instagram to share the good news and thank all her supporters from Jamaica and all over the world. She also had a message for girls all over the world:

“Please believe in yourself. Please know you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown i not mine but yours. It’s for you to truly understand that no matter where you are from and the cards you are dealt in life- your dreams are valid. You have a PURPOSE.”

Toni-Ann Singh is the fourth Jamaican to win the Miss World title. It was previously won in 1963, 1976 and 1993. Singh is a student of women’s studies and psychology at Florida State University and she aspires to be a medical doctor.
