Residents of Chokaa Estate off Kangundo Road were on Monday 13th January treated to a rude shock. This is after the decomposing body of a 10-year-old was discovered in a septic tank. The deceased had been missing since September of 2019.
The body of the minor was discovered by a construction worker who was working in an adjacent building.
Credible sources reveal that the body of the deceased was wrapped in a black polythene bag at the time of retrieval.
Detectives from the Kayole Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) carried out investigations on the incident in the company of Crime Scene Support Services.
The body of the deceased has since been transferred to the City Mortuary pending a post-morterm.
