Believe it or not but tossing a steel ball at ten pins standing at the end of an alley, is a great alternative to going on a movie date.

It brings out our competitive juices and that is a good thing in a lot of ways.

So if you are looking to take your next date here then listen up, Brayo! If you are not taking a taxi or driving there then you will have to hitch a number 11F, 11C or 107A matatu from Koja or Odeon; and ask the guy in a maroon suit at the door to drop you at Village Market. He will need you to give him between Ksh.50 or Ksh.100 in fare.

A good round at the bowling alley could take you around thirty minutes, but that depends on how well you shoot your shots. For this, you will pay Ksh. 500 which is inclusive of the bowling shoes.

So to get to K1, you could drive, take a cab, or take a No. 23 matatu from Khoja stage. Alight at Ojijo Road.

This billiard area provides a cool and serene ambiance that is great for socializing over. Each game should set you back around Ksh. 100/= and could last around 20 minutes; although this is totally dependent on your skill level.

Also, be ready for a long wait, sometimes all the tables are occupied and you have to wait for several light-years for an opportunity to play.
