Backed into a corner, the entertainment industry seems to be having a few tricks under its sleeve and it’s not afraid to use them.
Let’s break it down, with the threat of the novel COVID-19, self-isolation, and lockdown have proven to be great ways to overcome the virus. Both of these measures have greatly affected the music industries especially by banning concerts. But players in the music industry seemingly aware of this fact are taking Instagram Live Concerts as a way of going around this pitfall.
Musicians world over are now taking to their Instagram accounts to entertain their fans who are in their houses through an Instagram Live campaign dubbed #TogetherAtHome Livestream.
In Kenya, SautiSol has become the first entertainers to catch this new wave. The Kenyan boyband took to their Instagram to entertain their fans on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020. The move was received well by their fans and has prompted a repeat concert by the band on the 28th March of 2020.
